1. Keep a Drink Log

2. Let Everyone Plan
You’ve probably got that one friend who has the itinerary typed out on an excel spreadsheet. But share the responsibilities a bit more and let each person plan an outing. That museum might be the highlight of your trip after all!Â
3. Plan for Unplanned Time
Make sure you have enough down time in your schedule when you travel with friends. Don’t overextend yourselves and plan some time for rest. But down time is also a great opportunity to be spontaneous and visit that little pub around the corner from where you’re staying.
4. Have a technology free day
Reject modern technology while you travel with friends. No posting on Instagram, Facebook, or checking reviews about what where to go or what to do (like this post!). Put the phones away or on airplane mode for the day and take it all in.
5. Make a Mini Movie
On your non-reject modern technology day, use a waterproof camera or your phone to record videos of your adventures. Use a software like iMovie when you get back home to create a story of your day.
